Dowel Pin fell? Chances are your timing case got cracked in the process as the gears tend to wedge the pin against the gearcase.

The new design does NOT allow the dowel pin to drop as the end is beveled. Be sure to install a new pin as it is crucial to ensure proper gearcase alignment.
