In many cases, the Dodge Cummins factory lift pump does not provide sufficient fuel pressure to the injection pump under heavy loads, especially when performance modifications have been made to the 5.9L 12-valve engine such as high flow injectors or an aftermarket fuel plate. The HPFP will provide constant fuel pressure to the injection pump under the most extreme conditions.

Each HPFP kit includes the necessary 3/8" Fuel Line Kit. This kit DOES utilize the factory fuel pump.
