The stock turbine housing on the 1993 and earlier Dodge 5.9L's are too large and cause excessive turbo lag.
The 18cm housing in the 1989-90 5.9L 6BTA Cummins is a little too large and the turbo lag can be eliminated with this 16cm housing.
The 1991-93 intercooled engines have a 21cm housing which results in very poor response.
Our 16cm turbine housing helps decrease the turbo lag.
The result is a much better off the line power and improved mid range performance.
