Filter minder showing restriction with the standard AIS?
Check out the FOAM FENDER SLEEVE.
The foam fender sleeve
is used when it is desired to achieve better air flow using the AIS intake system.
The sleeve is used when a 3-1/2" diameter hole is cut in the back side of the AIS air box to make a seal to the fender opening.
This allows for more air flow through the air box to accommodate vehicles which have performance modifications such as chips, programmers and exhaust systems.
This modification to the AIS intake can help to lower EGTs, increase performance and mileage.
