My used Excursion with a 7.3 has been driving a little sluggish since I purchased it in 2005. I am using a Surperchip set to performance and it seems to run out of steam when you climb a hill. Last weekend my Excursion died due to a cam position sensor failure. I purchased the Blue CPS from this site and waited for it to arrive. Three days later I installed it and was up and running.
This Excursion of mine has never ran this good before. I have plenty of power, shifts earlier than normal, and my fuel economy has picked up noticeably. The idle is so quite that in traffic I can not hear it running. No way will I go back to the stock CPS. Great job Pure Diesel Power, thank you.
